If I remember rightly Greeno was a good shot stopper but was getting found out by the balls in the box which were "should I come for it or not". Used to get caught in limbo at bit.

Yes, we make get a further year out of him then, but equally it increases the temptation to let him go and recoup something. Long term you can probably see Fabianski slipping into a back up role. Hard to keep two good keepers happy and Adrian is far from being the worst keeper in the PL.

I think he will wind his contract down, although I would imagine that Pellegrini has said to him that he wants him to fight for his place. Fabianski is a very good keeper, but no spring chicken.

No, but it very much depends on whether Adrian is still here come the end of the window. That's far from certain.
